Continued Subway Adventures
A blissfully empty subway station on a Sunday afternoon:
All the stations have beautiful murals:
People walk through the subway selling all kind of random things. They set the item (bobby pins, candy, stickers…) in your lap, and then come back later to collect some pesos or their merchandise back.
My favorite was when someone was selling scissors the other day. I rode on a subway car completely packed with people holding scissors. That did not really feel safe.
